Google Buzz findings (review from an old techie)
The most active buzz I've participated in so far was here
http://www.google.com/buzz/petecashmore/6xXeMcNwruY/WOOT-You-can-now-share-Mashable-stories-to-Google What's interesting is that I found in the page source, the atom feed linking to:http://buzz.googleapis.com/feeds/112844561713780016118/comments/z13psngy2yfwzpnl323ryxwh2mmjv3lpr04 Suggested enhancements
1- A Buzz get's "duplicated" in gmail if it meets any of your filters/labels
2- If you read the Buzz, the email version is still unread? This is confusing.3- The "buzz" page should self refresh
4- The "buzz" page should have an atom/rss link apparent on the page (although below you can see how you can extract it)
5- The Atom feed doesn't have the latest buzz! I guess this is a pubsubhub thing 6- HTML isn't supported and links to Google maps don't turn into maps automatically 7- The reason I went through all this is to see if I can create/display a widget of my buzz onlineIt's not at all lost though, you can obviously invite folks to your buzz by adding the Buzz button
To get your Buzz button you can go here http://pastie.org/819310
Thanks to Wayne Sutton Let me know if you were able to get a feed of your buzz that can be used reliably as a tear off gadget/widget/wave/...Happy buzzing :)
